- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪They charge way to much for office visits and lower GI.. I recommend calling your insurance provider before going. I have Blue Cross Blue Shield they said that the GI Center had the highest costs out of all the GI doctors in their network my initial visit was 350.00 dollars for 5 minutes with the doctor.. - ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Make sure that you understand the anesthesiologist is not going to be in network!!!! You are told charges would be separate for pathology and anesthesia but COME ON!!! One would assume since Dr. Meah owns APOGEAN ANESTHESIA PLLC and he is in network with your insurance this APOGEAN ANESTHESIA PLLC would be as well. I looked at BCBS EOB today and it stated because I chose to use out of network provider charges would go toward my out of network deductible. I find this very shady being that I was not given the option of the anesthesiologist I would use for my two procedures it was already decided for me knowing APOGEAN ANESTHESIA PLLC is not in network. My in network deductible had been met resulting in services being covered at 100% so obviously I would have not chose an out of network provider!!!!!!July 15, 2017by Jamie McKissick
